who can purchase cannabis at ponder?

Anyone over 21 years of age with a valid government issued photo identification.

Do I have to be a resident of Washington State?

No, you do not have to be a resident of Washington State. All over 21 are very welcome with valid identification!

How much cannabis may I purchase from Ponder?

Under I-502, a single transaction is limited to one ounce of usable cannabis, sixteen ounces of cannabis- infused product in solid form, seven grams of cannabis-infused extract for inhalation, and seventy-two ounces of cannabis- infused product in liquid form.

Can cannabis purchased legally In Washington be taken across state lines?

No. Cannabis and cannabis products are to be consumed in Washington State.

Are taxes included in your prices?

Yes, a 37% Cannabis Excise Tax is included in all of the prices on our menu. However, a Washington State Sales Tax of approximately 10% will be added to the price at checkout. Please note that no sales tax will be added to any Certified Medical products sold to qualified patients listed in Washington State’s Medical Cannabis Authorization Database and who also present a Washington State Medical Cannabis Patient Recognition card to their budtender at checkout. Does Ponder accept credit or debit cards?

Ponder is currently cash only. We have an ATM inside the shop, for your convenience.

What about pesticides?

Ponder has some of the most conscientious sourcing standards around. Many of our growers go above and beyond current industry standards by utilizing sustainable growing methods and voluntary pesticide screening. We work tirelessly to find cultivators who value your health and enjoyment as much as we do.

 

Can I use my medical marijuana recommendation to make a purchase at Ponder?

Yes, Ponder is a medically endorsed retail shop.

Is it legal to drive under the influence of cannabis in Washington State?

No.

Initiative 502 states I cannot "consume marijuana in public". How is “in public” defined?

The law states that it is unlawful to open/consume a package of marijuana or marijuana infused product anywhere in view of the general public. So, if someone can see you, especially children, it is not cool to partake. In private, and in the company of consensual adults 21 years of age and older, you are legally allowed to consume and enjoy cannabis within Washington State borders.
